Maintenance Assistant/Equestrian Director (2018)

Jessica has always had a passion for sharing the Gospel, discipling young people and showing them Christ’s love for them through horses. In 2009, she had 6 weeks of intense horsemanship training using Parelli Natural Horsemanship methods. In 2010, God called her out of her comfort zone to come work at Doe River Gorge as summer staff. She saw God working in such incredible ways and fell in love with the place and the people here. She volunteered here every spring through fall until she became full time staff in 2013. In 2015, God called her home to her family in Wisconsin where He had her working with some youth in their church. God also used that time like a sabbatical then brought her back to Doe River Gorge with an even deeper passion and joy for what He is calling her to. In 2017, she came on full time staff to run the horse program as well as help with maintenance projects.
